Hello! My name is Brea Bursch and I’d love to share a little about myself so we can get acquainted.
In the spring of 2008, I picked up a DSLR camera for the first time. My very first baby was a few months old and, friend, he was changing so fast. Pregnancy prepares you for nursing and carseats and colic, but nothing really prepares a new mother’s heart for how fast, yet painfully slow, time starts to go. We wouldn’t be young forever, but thanks to that camera, we could always remember.
That season led me to a fledgling small business, and soon after, another baby boy where I excelled in juggling motherhood, wifedom, and business ownership. I poured blood, sweat, and more than a few tears into each part of this life.
Now we are up to four kids and I’m still building memories for clients, from the smallest newborn, to families and high school seniors, to senior citizens, to pets and their vets, and a plethora of other business owners. I am privileged to be at births, ball games, and birthday parties. I am lucky to live in such a beautiful city where I can explore new and wonderful places to capture client imaginations and to grow in my awareness.
On top of this, meeting so many special people during important moments in their lives remains one of my greatest pleasures in both my photography business and in my life.
I don’t take that lightly.
And, as I did for that gurgling baby boy who still reminisces over those photographs I took over a decade ago, I look forward to creating unique, special photography with you which will remind you of those important milestones in your life for years to come.
